1987 was the final year of the four-cylinder Gold Wing, and the Aspencade remained the fully equipped tourer of the range with its big fairing, integrated luggage, audio and on-board air compressor for the suspension. The main change for the year was a new three-stage foam seat. Engines were by now built at Honda's Anna, Ohio plant.
